E & M PROJECT CONTROL ENGINEER

Purpose of the Role:
The prime focus of the role will be to participate in planning and controlling activities within E&M to ensure the best coordination and optimization with civil works and complete the project in time.
Qualifications:
• Degree in Civil, Electromechanical engineering or similar Tertiary Qualification related to the development of infrastructure projects.
• White Card
Experience:
• Minimum 8 years’ experience working in the Construction Industry in a similar role – preferred
• Experience working on large scale construction projects or other suitable projects works
• Experience in office software suites
• Experience in schedule risk management preferred

Core Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
• Assist in developing the fully integrated and resourced FGJV E&M Baseline Program.
• Assist in developing detailed programs for all E&M phases of the project.
• Work closely on a day to day basis with project staff and sub-contractors/consultants to input accurate progress data into the E&M schedules and assist in producing weekly, monthly reports.
• Provide support to validate E&M project progress. • Analyse and report on E&M programmes and reports.
• Maintain Current Program which reflects progress, methodology and work sequence.
• Perform Time Impact Analysis on the E&M programmes.
• Prepare recovery programmes in line with contractual obligations.
• Assist in identifying schedule risks and quantitative schedule risk analysis.
• Assist in preparing time chainage charts.
• Maintain quality and standards as per FGJV systems and processes and meet Project Deed requirements.
• Coordinate actively with all project team members, sub-contractors/consultants and attend meetings in respect of all matters affecting programme, progress and other time-related issues.
• Provide accurate E&M project progress reports to the FGJV team and external stakeholders in a timely manner
• Assist in the development, update and optimization of the overall internal programme and its fragments
• Adhere to FGJV values, vision and mission • Contribute with advise and opinions than can support the FGJV business where applicable
• Comply with Future Generation Joint Venture policies and procedures as amended from time to time
